When I started to write The Three Feathers, not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I’d be reading in front of a group of kids. It did not cross my mind even once. Since the book was published though, Joshua and his friends seemed to capture the hearts of more and more young readers – to my complete surprise. Whenever I now read to a class, I feel like one of the kids. My heart was captured by Grey and Krieg and their journey with Joshua when I wrote the story. The feeling of companionship with the characters I felt back then has not left me since. I feel honored to be able to share it with others, especially with kids.
